Mass moment of inertia is a measure of an object's resistance to rotational velocity about an axis. The mass moment of inertia is also known as the rotational inertia and used to calculate angular momentum and angular
kinetic energy. The units of mass moment of inertia are kg.m^{2} and lb.in^{2}.
